Dr. Atul Deshmukh

Dr. Atul Deshmukh is a native Ohioan, growing up just northwest of Columbus.  He began his collegiate career at Case Western Reserve University and transferred to the Ohio State University, where he obtained two Bachelors of Science degrees in Biology and Economics and graduated with honors.

Dr. Deshmukh went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville in 2008.  He then completed five years of surgical training at Temple University Hospital and continued to hone his skillset when he was selected by The Institute of Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Utah for their prestigious and accredited facial cosmetic fellowship.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Deshmukh made several research contributions and participated in multiple volunteer programs.  One of his most impactful experiences being when he was elected as a team leader in the International Service Learning Program aiding Central America.

Since then, he has returned to the Midwest and dedicated his practice to providing quality patient care delivered with a personal touch.  Dr. Deshmukh is committed to using his knowledge and experience to help his patients solve their surgical needs and to ensure exceptional results.

Dr. Deshmukh is a board certified Surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  He is a current member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and tripartite member of the American/Ohio/Cincinnati Dental Associations.

Outside of his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Deshmukh enjoys traveling, music, tennis and exploring local coffee shops in search of the best cortado.  He is also very much a family man, and loves to spend time with his wife Sarah, their daughter Vivian, and their son Dhruv.
